Welcome To spark
This low-cost, HTMA-focused program provides advanced insights using just a few strands of hair to analyze key mineral ratios—essential for energy, muscle function, and recovery.
Most Female Athletes are Mineral Depleted
Many bodybuilders unknowingly experience significant mineral imbalances. Vital minerals like magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, zinc, and copper regulate muscle contraction, nerve function, hydration, and overall performance. It’s not just the individual minerals that matter—their ratios are crucial for proper function.
The HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) provides essential insights by:
Identifying key mineral imbalances and their ratios
Detecting toxic heavy metals that impair mitochondrial function and energy production
Bodybuilders often eat from a limited list of foods, reducing nutrient variety and diversity. Combine that with depleted soils, and the risk for mineral deficiencies is even higher. These imbalances can lead to chronic fatigue, reduced muscle output, and hindered recovery. Addressing them is critical for metabolic health, faster recovery, and sustained energy.
spark INCLUDES
SPARK identifies mineral imbalances that directly affect energy production, muscle
function, and recovery. Since minerals act as the “spark plugs” of the body, proper balance
is essential for metabolic health and athletic performance. By addressing these imbalances
and toxic metal exposures, SPARK enables you to optimize your supplement routine, diet,
and overall health strategy to improve performance and recovery.
We begin with a comprehensive analysis of your health history, symptoms, and current performance goals. This step is crucial for identifying potential areas of dysfunction even before we begin the diagnostic process.
Your HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) lab kit will be dispatched to you. Simple to conduct and using just a few strands of hair, we will uncover the key mineral imbalances and toxic metal exposure that have been the obstacle to your progress.
A Live 60 minute consultation to thoroughly review the results of your HTMA and guide you through your comprehensive, tailored health protocol. This session ensures you understand your results and have an actionable health building plan.
A bespoke supplement and lifestyle plan designed to optimize your energy, recovery, and metabolic health based on your unique needs.
A full recording of your consultation, so you can revisit the findings and your personalized plan whenever needed.
Ongoing access to your practitioner for real-time guidance and questions as you implement your custom protocol.
the htma process: what to expect
-
After signing up, an HTMA kit is ordered and shipped directly to your home. It will arrive complete with clear instructions on how to collect your sample, as well as everything you will need to return it to the lab for processing.
-
Follow the simple instructions in the kit to collect a small sample of hair. Ideally, this sample should be taken from the nape of your neck, using clean, untreated hair (no dyes, chemicals, or treatments within the past 4 weeks).
-
Trim 1 inch of hair closest to the scalp, and collect enough to meet the required quantity (usually about a tablespoon).
-
Place the hair sample in the provided collection envelope, ensuring it is securely sealed and labeled as instructed.
-
Use the prepaid return packaging to mail the sample back to the lab.
-
The lab will analyze your hair for mineral levels, ratios, and potential toxic metal exposures.
-
Once the analysis is complete, you’ll receive your results during a live, personalized 1:1 call with your practitioner. During this call, we’ll walk you through your detailed report and explain what the findings mean for your health and performance.
-
After the call, you’ll receive a full video recording of the session for your reference, along with your personalized protocol to optimize your mineral balance and overall health.

HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) is a diagnostic test that analyzes the mineral content of your hair. It provides insight into your body’s mineral balance, nutrient deficiencies, toxic metal exposure, and metabolic health, helping to address underlying imbalances that affect energy, recovery, and overall wellness.
-
Hair provides a long-term view of your body’s mineral status and toxic exposures because minerals and toxins are deposited in hair over time. Unlike blood and urine, which can reflect only immediate or short-term changes in the body, hair captures how your body is managing minerals and detoxification over weeks to months. This is particularly useful when the body is attempting to clear excesses—like heavy metals—which are often shunted to tissues like hair for storage. Blood and urine tests are more prone to fluctuations based on diet, hydration, and recent activities, whereas hair shows a more stable reflection of your body’s ongoing metabolic processes.
-
You need to collect approximately a tablespoon of hair, cut close to the scalp. The hair should be about 1 inch long and ideally taken from the nape of the neck for the most accurate reflection of recent metabolic activity.
-
Yes, untreated hair is recommended. Chemical treatments like dyeing, bleaching, or perming can alter the mineral composition in the hair. For the most accurate results, the hair should not have undergone any chemical treatments in the last 4 weeks.
-
Yes, HTMA can reveal the presence of toxic metals like mercury, lead, cadmium, and aluminum. These metals can accumulate in the body over time and are often stored in tissues like hair, which gives HTMA the ability to detect long-term exposure that might not show up in other tests.
-
HTMA detects imbalances in essential minerals like magnesium, calcium, potassium, and sodium, as well as their ratios. These minerals are critical for functions like energy production, muscle contraction, and stress response. It also highlights imbalances that may be affecting your adrenal health, thyroid function, and overall metabolic efficiency.
-
Once you send your sample to the lab, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to process. After the analysis is complete, you’ll have a live 1:1 call with your practitioner to review the results and get a personalized health plan based on the findings.
-
Yes, you’ll receive a detailed report of your HTMA results, including an explanation of what each mineral and toxin level means. Additionally, you’ll get a video recording of your consultation to reference whenever you need it.
-
Retesting every 3 to 6 months is recommended. This allows you to track your progress, assess how your body is responding to the protocol, and make any necessary adjustments to keep improving your health and performance.
-
Yes, but its important to inform your practitioner of all supplements you’re currently taking. Supplements can influence mineral levels and may impact the interpretation of the results. Adjustments can be made to your supplement routine based on the HTMA
findings.
